Church Family News 30.11.25
Dear Friends,
There is lots going on this coming Sunday!
It’s the start of Advent, that season when we look forward to Christ’s coming. His first at Christmas, and his second TBC! For Advent we will be starting our new “God Made Flesh” series. Asking what it means that Jesus became like us, born of flesh and bone to Mary in Bethlehem.
It’s also an ALL-AGE service at the 10am. Meaning that families will stay in throughout and we will worship God all together from the very youngest to the very oldest. Andy Beattie is going to be preaching on John 14:1-14.
Last, but by no means least! Angus Gibson is being baptised at the 10am. Come and support him as he takes this important step of publicly proclaiming what he believes. Please do be praying for Angus in the coming weeks and months!
All are welcome to join us at Loxwood church on Sunday.
8:30am - BCP Holy Communion.
10:00am - ALL-AGE Advent Sunday, with Angus’ Baptism. Refreshments afterwards.
Everyone is welcome & we’d love to see you there!
With love in Christ,
Revd. James Forward

Giving Sunday
If your home is anything like mine you will have come home from Giving Sunday last week with David Senior, fully intending to sit down, pray and do the sums to see how you might financially support our church. But then forgotten completely!
This is your reminder!
Full details of how to give via the Parish Giving Scheme, either to start a new regular donation, or to amend what you already give, are on our website here.
Pilgrim Groups
