Dear Friends,

How many sleeps until Christmas? If, like Richard last Sunday Morning, you have completely lost track, then this email is here to help to catch you up!


On Sunday morning at 10am in Loxwood, we have our Nativity from Scratch. Kids come dressed as their favourite nativity character and help us tell the greatest story ever told!


On Sunday Evening we have our traditional Carols by Candlelight Service. Loxwood Church 6.30pm.


On Christmas Eve we have our Family Christingle Service. Alfold Church 4pm.


And then on Christmas Day, it’s 10am in Loxwood Church for our big celebration! Please note: there will be no 8.30am service on Christmas Morning. Communion will be served directly after the 10am.


All are welcome to join us at Church on Sunday.

  • 8:30am | Loxwood | BCP Holy Communion

  • 10:00am | Loxwood | Nativity From Scratch | With refreshments afterwards.

  • 6:30pm | Loxwood | Carols by Candlelight | with mince pies and mulled wine!

Alpha

Alpha is an experience that unpacks the basics of the Christian faith, in an open, friendly environment. It’s open to anyone who’s curious, no matter their beliefs….

Invite your friends who have questions! Bring them along to enjoy a meal, meet new people, watch a talk, and have an open conversation afterwards.

Scratch Choir

Have you got a good singing voice? Have you got a bad one? We need you to join our Scratch Choir! All you need is enthusiasm!

What? To lend an enthusiastic lead at our Traditional Reading & Carols Services.

When? 6.30pm Sunday 21st Dec in Loxwood. 5.45pm meet time for rehearsal.

If you haven’t already done so, please remember to think about pray about your generous giving to the mission and ministry of Alfold and Loxwood Church.

Pilgrim Groups

Pilgrim Groups are a place of deeper fellowship, where we support one another in prayer, and go deeper into God's word together. If you are not already in a Pilgrim Group and would like to join one, please do e-mail Richard or speak to him in church. richard@alflox.org


Prayer Central

Our 1st Wednesday of the month Prayer Meeting is coming up next on Wednesday 7th December. We will meet in Loxwood Church Room. We meet at 7.30pm for refreshments, 8pm to sing and pray, and we always finish by 9pm. There is never an obligation to pray out loud. God hears the prayer of our hearts just as well! Please do join us.

Psalm 127 says ‘Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain.’ Monday Morning | Alfold or Loxwood Church Room | 9am-Midday | Drop in Drop Out | Come and pray for God to build.
