Join us this coming Sunday morning, as we continue through Genesis 21:8-34, and see God remembering his promises to Hagar, and remembering his promises to Abraham, establishing his first roots in the promised land.
And join us at 4pm for our All Souls Memorial Service where we will be remembering those who we love, who have died, in recent years.
We meet twice this coming Sunday morning in St JTB Loxwood.
8.30am | BCP Morning Prayer
10am | Family Worship & Holy Communion | with groups for the kids and coffee afterwards.
And once on Sunday afternoon in St Nicholas Alfold for our All Souls Memorial Service
4pm | All Souls Memorial

All Souls Memorial Service
All Souls is a chance to remember and give thanks to God for those whom we love that have died. All the details are on the invitation below which have been sent out to all families that have had funerals with us in recent years.
It is open to everyone, and if you would like to have the name(s) of a loved one read aloud as part of the service, please contact Emily in the office office@alflox.org
Remembrance Sunday
On the 8th of November we will be marking Remembrance Sunday in both villages. Communion will be served at the 8.30am service in Alfold, followed by services at 10am in both Alfold and Loxwood. Children’s Groups will be available in Loxwood and will have a more family feel. Alfold will be more Cenotaph-like. Both services will conclude with a time of silence and an act of remembrance at 11am.
And a BIG thank you to the Alfold WI who have again decorated Alfold Church so beautifully!
Beer and Carols 2026

We’re at Firebird Brewery on the 8th & 15th December, to sing some great carols, taste some great beers, and celebrate the great new of Christmas. It’s a terrific event, and a brilliant thing to invite our non-Christian friends along to.

Little Angels
Our Thursday morning toddler group, Little Angels, is back this week!
Little Angels is a relaxed and friendly group for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, parents, grandparents, and carers. There’s plenty of time to play, chat, enjoy refreshments, and get to know other local families. Each week we also have a short Bible story, some singing, and a simple reminder of God’s love for us and our little ones.
We meet on Thursdays at 10am at Loxwood Church.
Whether you come every week or have never been before, you would be so welcome. Do invite friends, neighbours, children, grandchildren, or anyone you know who might enjoy coming along.
Pilgrim Groups
Pilgrim Groups are a place of deeper fellowship, where we support one another in prayer, and go deeper into God's word together. If you are not already in a Pilgrim Group and would like to join one, please email Richard Allan or speak to him in church. richard@alflox.org
Prayer Central
Our 1st Wednesday of the month Prayer Meeting is coming up next on Wednesday 4th November. We will meet in Loxwood Church Room. We meet at 7.30pm for refreshments, 8pm to sing and pray, and we always finish by 9pm. There is never an obligation to pray out loud. God hears the prayer of our hearts just as well! Please do join us.
Loxwood Church-yard Working Party
Every now and then our wonderful churchyards need a bit of extra TLC. So on Saturday 28th Nov from 10am to about 2pm we’re going to get together to give Loxwood Church-yard a bit of a clean up. The Rectory will provide bacon sandwiches at lunchtime!
