Church Family News 14.06.26
Dear Friends,
Who is really in charge of our world?
In Acts 2:22–36, Peter stands before the crowd and announces that the Jesus they crucified has been raised from the dead and exalted to the highest place. The verdict of earth has been overturned by the verdict of heaven: “God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”
That means Jesus is not merely a figure from history, a helpful teacher, or someone we can safely ignore. He is the risen and reigning King—and every one of us must decide how we will respond to him.
Please join us this Sunday as we hear this wonderful news together. Do read Acts 2:22–36 beforehand, and come ready to see why the resurrection and reign of Jesus change everything.
We meet twice this coming Sunday morning in St Nicholas Alfold.
8.30am | BCP Morning Prayer
10am | Holy Communion | with groups for the kids & followed by coffee.
Everyone is welcome & we’d love to see you there!
With love in Christ,
Revd. James Forward
